What’s the meaning behind the name Stump & Root?

The name originates from Isaiah 11, which describes a shoot emerging from the stump of Jesse and a root growing to bear fruit. It speaks of the Messiah, found in Jesus. It also reminds us that even when something looks cut down, there’s potential for new life and growth. That’s how we approach branding—helping businesses grow strong, deep roots, and thrive.
